About Seasons of Life
Living with advanced illness can increase your risk for injury, discomfort and fatigue. My goal is to better ensure your safety, wellbeing and dignity. My Home Safety and Supportive Care Services give you that added layer of support to meet your changing needs.
Sometimes we find ourselves “in between” services in health care (discharged, no longer qualifying or placed on hold). This is a time when accidents and injury can occur. For this reason, I provide a Safety at Home program.
I am also honored to provide supportive, non-medical care and companionship for you and your loved ones as the focus shifts from curative to comfort care.

Safety At Home
My home safety screens identify areas of risk and provide you with recommendations which can make the difference between a return trip to the hospital versus remaining in the comfort of your home.
A few examples of what Safety Screens cover:
- Areas of fall risk
- Bathroom safety
- Caregiver injury prevention
I will also ensure that you are informed about any additional services that might be available to you.

End of Life Supportive Care
There are times when patients and their loved ones find that they need more time and support than what the healthcare team or family members are able to provide. Each transition through terminal illness and comfort care is completely unique with different demands placed on caregivers. Being by your side throughout this time can include anything from helping you to coordinate care, offering suggestions for comfort or providing respite so that you can rest. By reinforcing your medical team’s instruction, I will help to increase your sense of safety and confidence during this difficult time.
The client and their loved ones will always be in the lead. My role is to offer you extra time and support in order to prevent overwhelm and reduce the physical and emotional burdens carried by all who are affected by the care requirements at end of life.
My Seasons of Life doula services center around making certain that you understand every detail about your care for you and your loved one to feel well supported, despite the inevitable unknowns and changes each day brings.
When we meet, we will focus in on your greatest needs and concerns so that we can develop a custom plan just for you.
